Asia Franchise Networks was founded by T.K.Lee, a Franchisepreneur. Over many years of running a franchise business as a franchisee and sub franchisor (master franchisee), he realised that there was so much value that a franchise system could provide entrepreneurs in reducing their risk of starting a new business and achieving faster return on investments.

Raising funds for franchise business could be easier too as investors and/or bankers were able to rely on established business models to calculate their risks. Through franchising, entrepreneurs would no longer need to enter into a business by themselves.

In the mean time, Asia's economy is humming again and many established foreign franchisors are looking at the fast growing consumer markets in Asia as their global expansion market. However, these franchisors have their challenges too. They need to evaluate and find franchisees that understand, appreciate and would "follow the system". Then, there are legal and Intellectual Property issues; language, communications, time zone, cultural, localization, and the list of challenges continue for franchisors as they adopt their " Go To Asia Strategy ".

Asia Franchise Networks was conceived and associated to Edwards Global Services Inc. (www.edwardsglobal.com), a US based franchise consulting company, to provide franchise business solutions and opportunities for international franchisors and entrepreneurs in Asia.
